My little desert garden. I'm working on transforming my whole backyard, which is basically a rock landscape with some great looking Cassia and Texas Sage shrubs. I've planted Aptenia cordifolia (Baby Sun Rose), two strawberry pots filled with aloe plants and three small succulents which I can't recall their names. Time will tell if this spot is too much in the sun. Supposedly, aloe will turn yellow instead of green if they are in too much sun.

This is the Birdbath Garden nestled between Cassias and Texas Sage. The area is in partial shade/sun, so I planted some annuals and perennials that don't need full sun; primulas, alyssum, marigolds, a pineapple sage. and coleus. Also, in the back I sowed flower seeds just to see what would come up (forget-me-not, dahlia, sunflower, yarrow, and some catnip!) Next I will show the raised garden beds and container garden.
