This is part of last year's garden. I decided not to garden through the hot summer months this year - except for my one little pepper plant. Any day now I'll start clearing out, adding new soil and amendments and get my fall crops in. Can't wait!
it is getting close to our Sept 1 start to Spring; well that's what it tells us but often we can then plummet back to strong winds and cold conditions again for a while. Spring is fickle! I have been spending long days in the gardens tidying up after slackening off over the winter months; it's been payback time! I'm not looking forward though to the heat of Summer/New Year
